TTM was incorporated in 1998 and has grown dramatically since then to now be the
largest printed circuit board supplier in North America and one of the largest suppliers
in the world. TTM's acquisition of Meadville Holdings printed circuit board operations
on April 9, 2010 transformed the company into a global leader of high technology
printed circuit boards and backplane assemblies.
TTM's rapid growth began with the merger of Pacific Circuits and Power Circuits
in 1999 followed by a successful IPO on the NASDAQ under ticker symbol TTMI in 2000.
The company then doubled in size with the acquisition of Honeywell Advanced Circuits
in 2002 and again doubled in size with the acquisition of the Tyco Printed Circuit
Group in 2006. The acquisition of Meadville's printed circuit operation in 2010 once
again doubled the size of the company and represents total combined annual sales
in excess of $1 billion.
Today, TTM is a leader in key technologies and a one-stop supplier of services including
quick-turn and new product introduction; advanced HDI to support leading edge smart
phone and tablet PC products; high layer count capabilities for high-end computing
and networking markets; specialty PCB and assembly applications for the aerospace
and defense industry; and high mix / low volume manufacturing geared to the medical
and industrial markets.
TTM currently has fifteen manufacturing operations, seven of which are in the USA
and eight located in China and Hong Kong. The total facility manufacturing space is approximately
4.3 million square feet. TTM currently employs approximately 17,000 people.
